About me

Kiara J. Mason, MSW

Kiara J. Mason is the Co-owner and Content Marketing Strategist of Made to Maximize™, a marketing agency and business consulting firm that she and her husband, Jerred Mason operate together. She is the proud mother of River (daughter) and Levi (son). Her story is interesting as she transitioned from being a Social Worker to a Social Media Strategist. She uses her clinical and people skills to get to the heart of her client’s message to help them reach their targeted audience.

Kiara was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Orlando, Florida to graduate with her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. While minoring in Women’s Studies at UCF, Kiara discovered her true passion for women's empowerment.

In 2016, Kiara and her husband started a YouTube Channel called Meet the Masons which was later picked up by a television network, UPTv, and was given an episode on the hit show Expecting as she documented the birth of her firstborn daughter via emergency c-section. As brand partnerships came, they decided to start their agency to help other business owners increase their visibility online.

Out of her experience with postpartum depression, she later used her passion for women empowerment to found the non-profit Mommy Shower™, Inc., a nonprofit that seeks to shower mothers with empowerment, resources, education and community in their prenatal and postpartum stages to ensure that mothers are prioritizing their well-being in order to be healthy and walk in the fullness of who they are.

She uses her expertise and joy to serve high-achieving, well-respected female leaders to put their best image forward online and scale their business with social media marketing.
